Adams & Bischoff Partner J. Scott Bischoff, II Named to 2026 South Carolina Super Lawyers Top 25 List

We’re proud to share that J. Scott Bischoff, II, partner and co-founder of Adams & Bischoff, has been named to the Top 25: 2026 South Carolina Super Lawyers list, placing him among the 25 highest-rated attorneys in the state across all practice areas.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service, selects honorees through a process that combines peer nominations, independent research, and peer evaluation. Each year, no more than 5 percent of attorneys in a state earn the Super Lawyers distinction, and the Top 25 list recognizes those with the highest overall scores statewide. A place on it reflects Scott’s standing among his peers and the results he delivers for the people he represents.

A Charleston criminal defense attorney, Scott represents clients facing state and federal charges, including DUI, assault, drug offenses, white collar and fraud allegations, and criminal appeals. He began his career with the Office of the First Circuit Public Defender before co-founding Adams & Bischoff with Chris Adams in 2018. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from the Charleston School of Law.

This latest honor builds on a record of recognition that includes an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, selection as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, and inclusion in the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40.

Quote from Scott: “I’m honored to be included on this year’s list. It reflects the work our whole team puts in for every client who walks through our door.”
